Klizer recently organized Magento Meetup 2025 in Chennai and Madurai on January 05, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM IST. These gatherings brought together commerce specialists and brands to network, connect, and share knowledge within the Magento community.
As DCKAP shifted focus in 2022 to simplify commerce for distributors, Klizer’s commitment to community building became evident. The return of Magento Meetups post-pandemic since 2024 showcased the community’s resilience and enthusiasm and we’re continuing this year as well.
The Chennai and Madurai Magento Meetup 2025 by Klizer presented collaboration, learning, and progress. These efforts aim to strengthen the Magento community and provide a platform for learning from shared experiences.

How We Started?
It’s been a decade since we initiated Magento Meetup and it’s been an incredible journey since then. Back in 2014, Klizer initiated the Chennai Magento Meetup, organizing the very first one on September 27. It was a significant step in building what is now one of the largest Magento Meetup groups, with over 800+ Magento enthusiasts as of 2025.
We were also recognized at the Chennai Magento Meetup group at Magento Live India 2017 by Sherrie Rohde.
We’ve learned a lot along the way—leveraging platforms like Eventbrite, Meetup.com, and social media to spread the word and connect with the community. Each meetup has been a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and engage with professionals.
Let’s take this opportunity to highlight a special moment when Ben Marks, a Magento Evangelist, visited our Chennai office. That last-minute, unofficial meetup drew an incredible crowd, showing us the potential of this amazing community.
So far, we’ve hosted ten meetups, with each one becoming more interactive and insightful. The recent 7th meetup, sponsored by Dzine-hub, was particularly memorable, with participants sharing knowledge and discussing the future of Magento 2.
